The presents I bought for my sister

February 28, 2009 on 4:55 pm | By admin | In Home

My sister is having a birthday coming up. This is kind of a special birthday as she had just recovered from a very serious illness. She is my younger sister and she has always had a place in my heart. When she got sick last year I visited her as much as my job and home life permitted me to. As it turns out her illness wasn’t as serious as everybody thought that it was. When she was in the hospital I bought her a couple of silk duvets to help keep her warm at night and to let her know how much I cared.

Why I Recommend Instant Non Smoker

February 28, 2009 on 4:13 pm | By admin | In Health

If anyone should win a prize for the most failed attempts to quit smoking cigarettes, it is me. I tried to quit countless times, and I always found myself lighting up. When I finally decided that I was never going to find out how to quit smoking, a friend told me about Instant Non Smoker. I recommend this product to everyone I know who smokes. It was amazing how quickly and easily it worked for me. I did not gain any weight and I found it so easy to quit. I know it sounds too good to be true, but you will become a believer if you try it out for yourself.

The television my step-mom is getting my father

February 28, 2009 on 9:17 am | By admin | In Business

My step-mom called me last night and she wanted to get my advice on a few things. The first order of business was that she wanted to know which television set she should get my father for his birthday. I told her I really didn’t know what he would like other than it should be one of the big ones. She hung up with me and went online. An hour later she called me back and told me that she had found a Samsung Ln52a650 review on the Internet. She told me that this was the television set she believed my father would like the best.

Smoothies and Muffins

February 28, 2009 on 6:47 am | By admin | In Home

I have an amazing blueberry muffin recipe. One rainy afternoon last week I decided to mix up a batch of the muffins to keep busy and have something fabulous in the house for breakfasts. The muffins were cooling on the counter when I caught sight of my smoothie maker and decided that the perfect thing to go with a warm blueberry muffin would be a thick frosty blueberry smoothie! Within minutes I had mixed up the frozen blueberries, soy milk and honey with a dollop of nonfat cream cheese for flavoring, wow! The warm rich blueberry muffin and the cold luxurious smoothie were the perfect way to brighten up my rainy afternoon.

I Need A Kindle

February 27, 2009 on 3:10 pm | By admin | In Technology

The new amazon kindle is, quite literally, my dream gift. I wish I had one. I read a mountain of books every year and it would save me money (the downloadable books are cheaper), time - since you can download them in around 60 seconds, and space - since the kindle can store up to 1500 books in its memory. All the paper saved would be good for the planet too I suppose, although being green is not at the top of my list if I’m being completely honest. I am determined to get one of these, they cost a bit up front - but I think it would be money well spent.
