Auto News: 2010 Shelby GT500 Coupe Introduced

The launch of the new muscle car edition from Ford is expected to satisfy the automobile enthusiasts. As revealed in the auto news the 2010 GT500 gets supercharged V8 with twin overhead cam to generate a whopping 510 lb-ft of torque. In addition, new improved gearbox, reduced drag and re-evaluated rear axle ratio lead to improved fuel efficiency and faster acceleration.
It was Ford’s Special Vehicle Team that contributed to the enhancement of Shelby GT500 for 2009. Ford fans are hopeful – improvement in power and performance will help the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 regain the leadership position in sports car circuit.
