I Have a Manufacturer Warranty, Do I Need An Extended Warranty?

Typically, cars have few mechanical break downs during their first few years off the lot.  Ironically, this is also the time period of a manufacturer warranty.  If you plan to own the vehicle past the date of the manufacturer warranty expiration, then car extended warranties will benefit you.  An extended warranty simply extended the time that you are covered for mechanical break downs.  It helps to hedge you from paying huge out of pocket repair costs.  Additionally, it pays for all mechanical repairs even if their hourly rate soars through the roof.  You will be exempt from paying for the entire cost of parts and labor.
