Within the country of Germany, there are more than 453,000 cancer cases reported each year and approximately 282,000 deaths.  As a result, there are many German Translation specialists that find work in the medical fields translating documents for German Cancer patients seeking treatment outside of Germany.  In addition, Germany has some very advanced cancer research and treatment centers that bring in many patients who don’t speak German.  One famous facility is The  German Cancer Research Center or Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum.  This agency alone employs 2,000 employees that include 850 scientists, all working together to find a cure.

Cancer can be defined as a disease in which cells grow abnormally in the body.  The symptoms of cancer can vary depend on the type and location of the cancerous tumor.
