I am a home buddy and a couch potato. Well, you can’t be a home buddy and not be a couch potato can you? I enjoy watching television and I can honestly say that I cannot live without TV. I like criticizing ridiculous movies, TV shows and ads as well as untalented actors and actresses. I saw this particular TV ad, which was a paid advertisement for a canned good. The product was endorsed by a model dancing brazilian samba. The ad was about a lady who cannot stop dancing after she ate the product. The ad was so silly I almost threw the remote at my TV. But I restrained myself because it took me months to save money for that TV.

Ares Helps Me Get Through the Winters

Thank God it’s finally warm outside.  Even when I have to be inside, just knowing that it’s nice outside, makes me happy.  We had a loooong cold winter where I live.  Some day I am gonna retire to the Philippines and never see snow again.  Until then I am going to keep coming up with little tricks to fool myself and get through the winters.  One thing I do is make sure all the light bulbs are working and keep the house bright during the winter.  Another thing is use different kinds of heat – the gas furnace, wood fireplace and a electric space heater in my room.  Lastly, I have created a “summer” soundtrack cd using Ares that I move around the house and play to make myself think its summer time.  This weekend I will be able to play my Ares summer cd outside and actually enjoy the sunshine!

The planning of my daughter’s wedding.

Next May my daughter is getting married and already her mom has everything worked out to the T. My wife found the caterer and everything to do with the food. She also arranged the seating chart and pretty much everything that needed to be thought about and done. She even found how the event was to be recorded. A while back one of her friends got married again and had the wedding recorded by wedding photography Markham.
