I Got My Amazing Mitsubishi L200
May 23, 2009 on 6:17 am | By admin | In AutosThe problem with pick up trucks is that they aren’t always the most nimble of vehicles. I was desperately looking for a pick up truck which would adequately house all my tools but also provide me with a quick and enjoyable driving experience every single time I stepped into the cab.
That is until I found the Mitsubishi L200 at the Harratts Mitsubishi dealership. I took it for a test drive and found it to be everything I was looking for in a Pick Up truck and so much more. It was both practical and sporty. The Mitsubishi L200 is an amazing vehicle!
Getting An Airport Transfer To A London Airport
May 22, 2009 on 3:45 pm | By admin | In AutosYou may be hoping to enjoy a stress free holiday but frequently a trip to the airport can spoil this. The 2 largest operating and best known airports in the UK are Gatwick and Heathrow.
If you are taking a flight overseas on a short break or have an internal flight, there will be Airport Transfers London on offer to get you to the airport. Lots of airport transfer companies have vehicles that range from regular cabs to mini buses.
There is no reason in stressing out about your trip when you could get a mini cab to the airport easily. A driver of a Gatwick and Heathrow taxi will have a good knowledge of how to get to the airport from various regions. As a result you can start working out your plans in the departure lounge before your flight leaves.
Father and Son Use Discount Auto Parts to Repair Son’s First Car
May 20, 2009 on 3:31 pm | By admin | In AutosMy son turns sixteen later this year and is looking forward to getting his driver’s license. We will need a car for him to drive because his mom and I need our vehicles to drive to work. Right now our budget is stretched to the limit, so Billy is taking on an after school job to help pay for his car. We have been watching the classified ads for a decent used car for him. I think we might have found the right one. It’s a 2002 Honda Accord. The body is in good shape, but the engine needs some work. Luckily, I have always done my own car repairs. Billy and I will do the repair work ourselves and also save money by using Discount Auto Parts. We hope to have the repairs made by the time Billy takes his driver’s test.
Who Are Aptera Motors
May 18, 2009 on 5:32 am | By admin | In AutosAptera Motors was formerly known as Accelerated Composites. The company is a maker of high-efficiency vehicles and is located in Carlsbad California. As a whole the USA has been slow in the development of fuel efficient cars right down to the electric or hybrid variety. Other countries have been far more pro active in trying to find a reliable fast efficient vehicle that won’t rely so heavily on oil. As we have seen over the past few years the oil price has been very unstable rising to well over 150 dollars a barrel at one stage and now falling to less than half that.
The 59 series of pDVLA number plates
May 14, 2009 on 6:45 pm | By admin | In AutosThe 59 series of DVLA number plates will be available shortly. They can be viewed now but cannot be bought until June 2nd 2009. Traditionally their is a rush to buy new releases but the number 59 is not an easy number to work into a name or word when looking for a registration number. In the past numbers like GE06 RGE would sell immediately but somehow GE59 RGE does not look the part. This added to the fact that new car sales are down by such a massive amount may mean sales are going to be slow. Time will tell.
Spoken to staff Car Insurance
May 10, 2009 on 6:02 am | By admin | In AutosI’ve recently spoken to a member of staff regarding an accident I was involved in, in which the front of my car was badly damaged. I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank-you for dealing with my car insurance claim in such a professional and pleasant manner, the courtesy car was available within a very reasonable space of time, and I was on the road again a lot sooner than I’d expected. Throughout my dealings with you I have always received a very high level of service, which hasn’t always been the case with insurance claims I’ve made in the past with other companies, so I will definitely be renewing my car insurance with this company again.
Is Chrystler Stock Worth Anything?
May 7, 2009 on 11:10 am | By admin | In AutosOne of the interesting fallouts of the Chrystler bankrupcy is whether or not their company stock is going to be worth much going forward. The company is going bankrupt and it will be a quick bankrupcy, so it will be quite interesting to see how that ends up playing out. It could mean that the debt is removed quickly, or it could mean that the stock is going to be in the dumps for quite some time. I really just don’t know for sure. At this point buying a used Camaro might make more sense than buying Chrystler stock, but who knows.
I Have a Manufacturer Warranty, Do I Need An Extended Warranty?
May 7, 2009 on 7:45 am | By admin | In AutosTypically, cars have few mechanical break downs during their first few years off the lot. Ironically, this is also the time period of a manufacturer warranty. If you plan to own the vehicle past the date of the manufacturer warranty expiration, then car extended warranties will benefit you. An extended warranty simply extended the time that you are covered for mechanical break downs. It helps to hedge you from paying huge out of pocket repair costs. Additionally, it pays for all mechanical repairs even if their hourly rate soars through the roof. You will be exempt from paying for the entire cost of parts and labor.
Road Trips And Truck Train Horns
April 28, 2009 on 10:50 am | By admin | In AutosMost people can remember going on a family road trip. How many times as a kid did we pull along side a big rig truck and motion for the driver to pull on the Truck train horns. Kids our age loved it, not just because the truck driver actually did what we wanted them to do, which was a rare occasion for a child, but we loved it because those particular horns we so blasted loud. Of course we had the benefit of being in the car when they honked on there massive truck horns. If we happened to have been outside, and standing very close to the truck, with being so loud, we might have found it less enjoyable and more unpleasant to our ears.
