Did I Buy a Lemon?

February 18, 2009 on 4:18 pm | By | In Autos

I have only had my car a short while, and I just can’t believe how many things have gone wrong with it. I am worried that I might have bought a lemon because I can’t imagine why I should be having all sorts of problems with a car that supposedly was in great condition when I bought it. It is used, but I was told it hadn’t been in any accidents or had any problems before. It is a good thing that I made sure it came with a car warranty or I would have been out a lot more money.

Why my mom had to buy a new car

February 14, 2009 on 4:16 pm | By | In Autos

Last Tuesday was not a good day for my mom. She was driving home from work when she was rear-ended by another car and my mom’s car was totaled. This was sort of okay as her car was twelve years old and she was thinking about getting another car anyways. One of her friends works for a local car dealer so she went in to buy a car that day. She looked at many different models and she compared car warranty information. She wanted to get the most car for her money. She ended up getting the same car that I own.

Driving a left hand drive car

February 14, 2009 on 10:40 am | By | In Autos

When you get in a left hand drive car, other than if your in America, this can be an interesting endeavor. In most of the world right hand drive cars are the norm so a car with lhd really looks and feels, not to mention drives novel. It won’t take you long however to get used to it because other than the steering controls and peddles being on the other end of the car, everything drives the same. The biggest part you’d have to get used to is retraining yourself to judge distances based on the different perspectives driving this type of car will give you!

The beginning of car history

February 12, 2009 on 9:23 am | By | In Autos

How did it all began? The story of freedom the story of mobility, the story of travel – the story of the car. Car history goes way back, much further than you would think. Of course those first cars were nowhere ner todays moder vehicles. The year when the first car was supposed to be invented is 1672. This is when Ferdinand Verbiest built the first steam powered car. Unfortunately this happened so long time ago that no 100% proof of that car exists today. It is possible that that car newer really existed or it is possible that it did but that it never worked and never drove around. Still, this is the earliest mention of the car in car history.

Dent Removal with Dried Ice: The Theory

February 5, 2009 on 1:44 pm | By | In Autos

Most car shops big scale or small scale find dent removal as a good means of profit for them because they can bring about high charges from their customers with just spending low cost materials for the repair. Low cost materials such as dried ice. But, how does dried ice fix the dent of a car? I’ve never proven of this either, but I gues the theory is that when metal gets cold it contracts, and that when dry ice is applied to the dent, the metal around it gets cold enough that it contracts enough to pop the dent out.

New Car on the Block

February 5, 2009 on 11:22 am | By | In Autos

Mrs. Fleming came into our dealership and requested to look at some of our newer model automobiles.  She was interested in purchasing something in a light blue color with leather seats a little darker than the color of the automobile. I showed her several models that we had available and the different price ranges we offered. I advised her of our new car extended warranty that was offered with every purchase. I explained the benefits of this as a type of insurance to protect her in the future from unnecessary expenses if she ever broke down or needed repairs. I let her know regular maintenance was important as well.

Water4Gas – What Is It?

January 25, 2009 on 6:49 am | By | In Autos

Water 4 Gas is about making your own HHO Generator, which then is installed into your car to run your car using Brown Gas.  However if you are lioke me, hopeless with the mechanics of the car, you can still hire a local mechanic to do it all for you.

In the long run, you wil lget huge savings on your gas, and more importantly a reduction in your carbon emissions!

Below is a snippet from Matt Williams, Articlesbase.com

“Water4Gas system is as an enhancer supplemental to gasoline and not a water hybrid conversion! The basic problem with the conventional gasoline/air mixture is the large gas droplets, the hydrogen produced by Water4Gas hydrogen generator torn apart these droplets into tiny droplets and glue itself to these small parts. The gasoline hydrogen mist will ignite more effectively and burn the fuel more smoothly which can significantly improve the mileage and the emission.”

A Water-Powered Car: A True Wonder

January 12, 2009 on 8:11 pm | By | In Autos

One of the highlights of my year is the annual auto show takeing place in early winter.

It’s a great way to forget about the cold and dreariness outside and escape for a while; all while looking and admiring the latest technologies in the auto industry.

This year’s show was no different. Among the latest designs and innovations was a car unlike any I’d ever seen. It was a water powered car.

Designed from the ground up to utilize the latest technology in water to oxyhydrogen fuel-additive creation, this car was amazing.

You could watch a small amount of gas being put into the tank along with a water reservoir while the car ran and ran. – I was impressed.
