The Size Of My Phone Book Is Shrinking

I grew up in a small town and the white pages in our phone book was about twenty pages long.   We had most of he numbers memorized and did not have to use the book that often.   When I went away to school I discovered that we had a phone book that was almost three inches thick.  Now that I am in business if I were to stack all the phone books for the cities I work in, the stack would be taller than I am.   However,  I have my phone book on the internet and with my cell phone I am back to the size of the book I grew up with.
