Family Discussion on Sleep Disorders in Children

I have been trying to get her to sleep through the night but just when I put her down and she cries, my husband goes in and picks her up. I told him that sleep disorders in children are caused by this type of behavior because they learn that every time they cry they get picked up. He says that he does not like to hear her crying and then we have a discussion because I am the one who has to stay up with her all night long.
