Galvanized window wells

These are Galvanized Window Wells which are termed as a useful accessory for basement windows. But it causes a mess during rains when water collects in these window wells. The water eventually seeps into the basement creating puddles of water and ruining the possessions in the basement. Not only that, grass and weeds also grow at the bottom of the window wells which are difficult to remove. This blocks sunlight from entering into the basement. All these can cause the galvanized steel to rust.
