Making it More Difficult for People to Find My Home Address and Phone Number

I have noticed that I am included in some of the online phone book resources, does anyone know how to get my name removed from these listings? I am planning to get an unlisted number, would they have to remove it then, or would I have to contact each website and request they remove it? I could really use some advice. I only want people to get my phone number and address if I give it to them myself.
