I Thought My Son Would Be Held Back in School

He was smart and seemed to be learning. Imagine my shock at the end of the year when his teacher suggested that he repeat the grade! It seemed that he was having trouble grasping some necessary reading concepts. I immediately contacted a tutoring service. My son’s tutor worked him throughout the summer. It was very easy going as we only had a session once a week for a half an hour. By the end of the summer, he was able to make enough progress to move on with his class. It was such a relief and he has been successful in school ever since.
